Leadership Scott County is a county leadership development program since 1990.
The mission of Leadership Scott County, a non-profit, is to inspire community leadership through education and a deeper understanding of issues affecting Scott County in a setting that furthers leadership skills and encourages graduates to apply their knowledge and experiences through service, volunteerism, and altruism.
The program is made up of seven one-day monthly sessions where participants gather to learn and gain insight about Scott County through dialogue with business and county leaders to explore its opportunities, challenges, and resources.
Leadership Scott County Suspends Class of 2020-2021
Due to COVID-19
The Leadership Scott County Board of Directors has unanimously voted to suspend the Leadership Scott County Class of 2020-2021 taking place in the midst of the ever-changing and tightening of restrictions and guidelines associated with the COVID-19 pandemic which may place the class members, Day Chairs, speakers, business site-visits, and Leadership Scott County program in jeopardy.
We encourage all interested individuals to plan ahead and to apply for the Leadership Scott County Class of 2021-2022 when applications open early next year.
