Leadership Scott County (LSC) is an 7-month program consisting of local history, education, government, agriculture, economics, health care and public services provide participants the background knowledge of our community. The program is designed to enhance participants leadership qualities, building a wider network of connections among the class and community, as well as leaning of the challenges faced and opportunities available within Scott County.
The 2020 LSC application process is now closed.
Applications will open February 1, 2021 with the deadline for submission March 30, 2021.

The LSC Graduation Program is held at the Chamber of Commerce Luncheon
Night-time Reception / Celebration with family and friends.
Each session will focus on a topic, such as Agriculture, Economic Development, Public Service, Government, Education, Healthcare, History and Culture. Class members will go on walking tours of organizations and sites as well as interact with community leaders.
Place and Time
Day sessions last an average of 7.5-8 hours beginning at 8:00 a.m. and concluding at 5:00 p.m.
Sessions are located within Scott County. Agendas are emailed one week prior to each session. Participants will meet promptly at the Scott County Library before each session unless otherwise noted.
